Groups FAQs

When are groups starting?
Most groups usually start near the beginning of each school term.

How many weeks are groups meeting for?
Most of our groups meet for around 8 weeks, however; the frequency of groups is explained in the group's description.

How do I choose the group that is right for me?
You are free to choose a group by the focus, the leaders, or because someone you know is planning to attend. We hope there is something for everyone. Most of our groups have a limited number of spaces, so sign up quickly to avoid disappointment!

Does everyone have to attend a group?
Our groups are right at the heart of life at Jubilee, so we would encourage everyone to be part of a group if they can be. Please do get in touch if you are finding it difficult to attend a group.

Should I sign up if I'm staying in the group I attended last term?
Yes - please sign up again even if you plan to stay in the same group as last term - it's a new term and we are starting afresh!

What am I signing up to?
Sign-up is for a term at a time. For you to grow and develop friendships we encourage everyone to attend each session, if possible, for the weeks the group is running. At the end of the term you will have the option to sign up again (if the group is continuing), join another group, or take a break.

What happens after I've signed up?
The group leader will make contact with you and welcome you to the group, they'll confirm details like the start date, meeting location and other information you might need. They'll also ask to add you to a Joyned chat group which will help you stay in contact with other people in your group.

What if I have more questions?
Please speak to one of our welcome team, a group leader or email: groups@jubilee.org.uk.
